We have a lot of volunteer opportunities available with Kids Up Front. Our biggest need for volunteers is our suite ambassador program. We have suites frequently donated by corporate companies for events at the Saddledome for Flames, Hitmen, Roughnecks and concerts. Our suite ambassadors are KUF representatives who accompany the groups we send and just make sure the group gets to the suite OK, and they hang out and just be sure the suite is taken care of. Our ambassadors don’t babysit the group (chaperones are sent along from the agencies we send) they are just there to represent us.

We do need police checks and child intervention checks for all of our suite ambassadors however, so it does take a bit of time for people to get on board since we need them in hand before we can send them to a suite.

We also have our general volunteer email list. This is who we email out various fundraising events, activities and other things that we need help with. The program is very flexible, you sign up for whatever works for your schedule and if you cannot commit on a certain date no problem! Some of the events we need help with are: Flames 50/50, our Stranded event that takes place in August and various other fundraising initiatives.
