Join the Housing Forward Movers Team!

As an organization targeting homelessness, we are constantly in need of volunteers able to help clients move to their permanent housing. Just one of the many blocks that our clients face in obtaining housing stability is not having the same support system as others. Normally, you would reach out to family and friends to help move, and we are asking you to be part of the community surrounding and helping our clients.

Please reach out if you are willing to be contacted when movers are needed

Activities might include:

Lifting and moving heavy boxes (35lbs.+)
Heavy stair use
Climbing in/out of vehicles
Occasional client interaction

Types of situations:
Moving clients from Interim Housing to a permanent apartment
Moving supplies to a new location
Transporting donations
Moving "House to Home" kits
Other occurrences that need movers
