CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!!

This December 18th, the Calgary Jazz Orchestra presents, “A Perfectly Frank Christmas”. Directed by two-time Global Music award winner for Best Male Vocalist, Johnny Summers, this program will feature the jazz orchestra with musical favourites of Frank Sinatra to the styles of Harry Connick Jr., and is sure to become one of your family traditions! With the combination of Johnny’s rich vocals, and the high performance level of the CJO, the unique character and talent of this program exude the stage!

As a special feature, they will be celebrating the release of Johnny’s newest holiday album, “When It’s Christmas Time” and feature select tracks in performance!

This December also marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Frank Sinatra! Join the Calgary Jazz Orchestra in celebrating the holidays and the centennial of an iconic figure to the jazz community!

Head to the Medicine Hat College Theatre on the MHC campus (299 College Dr. SE) for 8 pm, December 18th for a program that’s steeped rich in jazz tradition!
