At St. Miracle Works Educational Foundation (SMWEF Ghana), the volunteer and internship abroad programs are available are year-round and actively ongoing. We work with schools, hospitals and clinics, care and community development centres in Ghana etc.

Volunteering Work with Rural Children in Ghana

Volunteer in Ghana and help improve the life's of less privileged children in rural community in Ghana, you will assist local teachers and caregivers in kindergarten, day care center or special needs school. Childcare volunteering in Ghana is a great opportunity for you to gain practical childcare experience and learn new skills. Best of all, you'll be helping it is really needed and working on sustainable long-term goals.

Teaching Volunteer Project in Ghana

Volunteer and help in a wide range of subjects, including Mathematics, Creative Arts, Science, Basic English and Mathematics etc. The teaching program takes place in Nursery, Primary and Junior High Schools where volunteers initially either shadow or teach under the supervision of a local teacher. • Design a proper girl-child module for the girls in order to follow without difficulty.
• Involve girls in out–of–the–class activities and educate them the importance of being in school during their menstruation periods.

Child labor & Trafficking Children Volunteer Project in Ghana

Volunteers on this project will host educational talks at schools to raise awareness. The project also targets children’s rights, basic literacy, financial management, and community pride.
This project is suitable for international students, groups and volunteers who are looking to do research on the causes, dangers and effects of child labor and trafficking and to help provide the necessary interventions towards this phenomenon.

Volunteers will involve working directly with children and their families, fishermen and schools to stop rampant child labor and trafficking practices in fishing communities in Ghana.
•Volunteers will conduct interviews with families, child labor and trafficking victims and the fishermen who hire them.

•Volunteers/Interns will also participate in the selection of children eligible for sponsorships to return to school.
