About Us:
DEFEND is a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to reducing risks for children and vulnerable people online. We are currently building 65square, the world’s healthiest social media and dating platform, designed with game-like features and characteristics of an MMO. Our goal is to create a safer, more positive online space for users.


Role Description:
As a Dancer with HelpusDefend, you will play a crucial role in our performances and community outreach programs. Your participation will help us achieve our mission by engaging audiences, promoting cultural appreciation, and providing educational experiences through dance. You will contribute to the artistic vision of our organization while inspiring others through your passion for dance.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in regular rehearsals and training sessions to refine skills and learn new choreography.
Perform in various productions, including community events, fundraisers, and educational workshops.
Collaborate with choreographers and fellow dancers to create innovative routines that align with the organization’s mission.
Engage with the community during outreach programs, demonstrating dance techniques and encouraging participation.
Assist in promoting performances through social media and community engagement efforts.
Maintain professionalism during rehearsals and performances, adhering to organizational standards.
Skills, Qualifications, and Educational Requirements:
MUST be 18 years and above
Previous experience in dance (ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop) is preferred; formal training is a plus.
Strong physical fitness, balance, flexibility, and coordination.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Creativity and artistic expression are essential for contributing to choreography.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse audiences during outreach activities.
