Kida Elementary School-Najja is an education project of Katosi Inter-Community Development Alliance. Its purpose is to offer quality education to the less privileged children especially orphans and vulnerable children.

We seek to have volunteer teachers to assist our small staff in teaching English, maths, games and sports, and music/drama lessons.
Our school is located in a village near the shores of lake victoria, and a welcoming community.
Our food is local and freshly prepared from the gardens of the school.
The security is very good and the environment is totally an african setting; we have no showers, no fridges, no flush toilets but pit-latrines, we use a solar electric system. Although all of these look typical but very ambient and enjoyful.
In addition, we offer free accomodation, meals, airport pickup, incountry orientation and weekend tours near our location.
The period of stay is between 2-6 months.
The end of your voluntary service earns you a certificate of appreciation.
