Volunteer Opportunity: Social Media Content Creator

Opportunity Overview:

BLFA is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to help enhance their online presence. This volunteer will play a critical role in crafting engaging content, fostering community interaction, and amplifying the foundation’s mission to reach a broader audience.

Responsibilities Include:

-Developing and implementing a social media strategy aligned with organizational goals.
-Creating, editing, and posting engaging daily content such as text, images, and videos.
-Maintaining and improving the visual design of social media profiles.
-Monitoring and analyzing performance using tools like Google Analytics and Hootsuite.
-Interacting with followers to build an engaged online community.

Skills and Qualifications:

-Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
Interest in non-profit work, international issues, and philanthropy.
-Experience as a Content Creator or in a similar role.
-Strong writing skills to craft clear and engaging social media content.
-Proficiency with Canva or similar platforms for content creation.
-Prior experience managing social media accounts is an asset.
-Written and verbal French is a bonus.

Requirements:

-A college diploma or higher in Marketing, Business Management, Arts, or a related field.
-Completion of an interview and submission of a resume.
-Availability for phone contact as needed.
