Volunteer Opportunity: Graphic Designer
Organization: BC TEAL
Location: Remote
Commitment: 3 hours per week (Ongoing, flexible schedule)
The Association of British Columbia Teachers of English as an Additional Language (BC TEAL), established in 1967, is an organization of educators dedicated to the growth and development of the profession of English language teaching.

BC TEAL is seeking a Graphic Designer to support its digital and print media efforts. This volunteer role is ideal for individuals with a passion for design and a creative mindset who want to contribute their skills to a meaningful cause.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Design engaging graphics for social media, printed materials, and websites.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project needs.
Present design concepts and incorporate feedback for revisions.
Utilize Canva (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are preferred but not required).
Stay updated on design trends to create high-quality, modern visuals.
Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in Canva (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are a plus).
Strong understanding of web applications (communication via Basecamp).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Academic background in Design or Communications (preferred).
Familiarity with the EAL, EAP, ESL industry (preferred but not required).
